Role OverviewThe Paid Advertising Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing performance-driven paid media campaigns across digital advertising platforms. This role covers the full paid advertising lifecycle—from campaign strategy and setup to optimization, testing, and performance analysis—requiring a strong balance of analytical thinking and hands-on execution.
You will manage campaigns across multiple platforms, collaborate with creative partners, optimize budgets and targeting, and scale profitable acquisition channels. This role is ideal for performance-focused marketers who enjoy testing, optimization, and data-driven decision-making in fast-paced environments.

Core ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy, Setup & Execution — 30%Develop paid advertising strategies aligned with growth and acquisition goalsSet up and launch campaigns across major advertising platformsBuild campaign structures with proper tracking, naming conventions, and attributionDevelop audience targeting and keyword strategiesCoordinate with creative teams on ad requirements and specificationsCampaign Optimization & Performance Management — 30%Monitor campaign performance and identify optimization opportunitiesOptimize bids, targeting, placements, and budgets to improve efficiencyAnalyze performance metrics such as ROAS, CPA, CTR, CVR, and CPMScale winning campaigns and pause underperforming onesTroubleshoot delivery, tracking, and policy-related issuesA/B Testing & Creative Collaboration — 20%Design and execute structured A/B tests for creative, audiences, and funnelsCollaborate with designers and copywriters using performance insightsAnalyze test results and document learningsTest multiple formats, messages, and audience segments across platformsBudget Management & Forecasting — 10%Manage and pace advertising budgets responsiblyAllocate spend across platforms based on performanceForecast campaign performance and budget requirementsEnsure spend efficiency and alignment with profitability goalsAnalytics, Reporting & Insights — 5%Track and analyze performance using platform and analytics toolsCreate performance summaries with actionable insightsConduct post-campaign analysis to inform future strategyPlatform-Specific Management — 5%Execute platform-specific best practices based on primary channelsStay current with platform updates, algorithms, and new featuresRequirements
Must-Haves (Required)1–3+ years of experience in paid advertising, media buying, or performance marketingHands-on experience with at least two major advertising platformsProven ability to manage campaigns and improve performance metricsStrong understanding of audience targeting, conversion tracking, and optimizationAnalytical mindset with ability to interpret performance dataProficiency in Google Sheets or Excel for reporting and analysisExcellent written and verbal English communication skillsStrong ownership, attention to detail, and accountabilityProven ability to work independently in a remote environmentNice-to-Haves (Preferred)Experience managing campaigns across multiple platforms or regionsBackground in e-commerce, DTC, lead generation, or affiliate marketingExperience with attribution tools, CRO tools, or funnel optimizationFamiliarity with advertising automation, scripts, or rulesExposure to international or Spanish-speaking market campaignsPlatform certifications (Google Ads, Meta, Amazon, LinkedIn, TikTok)
