Role Overview:
This role exists to drive growth.
As Video Editor, your primary responsibility is turning raw footage, UGC, product clips, and concepts into high-performing ad creative across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other paid channels. Your work will be judged by one thing first: does it stop the scroll and hold attention.
You will be deeply embedded in paid media and growth. This is not a passive editing role. We expect you to understand consumer psychology, storytelling, pacing, hooks, and retention curves, and to continuously improve creative based on performance feedback.

Responsibilities & Role Ownership
Performance Ad Editing
Edit short-form and mid-form video ads optimized for Meta, TikTok, YouTube, and other performance channelsSlice and repurpose long-form and UGC content into multiple high-impact ad variationsContinuously test different hooks, openers, pacing, captions, and CTAsOptimize edits specifically for watch time, engagement, and conversion
Creative Strategy & Storytelling
Apply strong storytelling frameworks within short time constraintsBuild clear narratives that hook early, maintain attention, and drive actionUnderstand what makes effective thumb-stoppers and retention-driven adsCollaborate with growth and creative teams to translate concepts into executable ads
Iteration & Optimization
Iterate quickly based on performance data and feedbackIdentify patterns in winning ads and systemize what worksKill underperforming creative fast and replace it with improved variationsMaintain a high-volume creative output without sacrificing quality
Brand & Product Content
Support occasional brand or product-focused videos when neededEnsure all content feels consistent with brand standards while still being performance-drivenBalance creativity with clarity and compliance where required

Proven experience editing direct-response or performance ad creativeStrong understanding of consumer psychology, hooks, and storytellingExperience editing for Meta and TikTok specificallyAbility to turn raw, imperfect footage into compelling, high-performing adsComfort working in a fast-paced, high-output environmentWillingness to test, fail, learn, and iterate quickly
