Business Function Group Finance aims to deliver world-class standards in reporting, financial planning and finance processes. We provide insights and analyses that help the bank make sound business decisions ? whether in the areas of product development or customer profitability. We also provide capital management, business planning, forecasting, and tax and accounting advisory services.

Role Description & Responsibilities Partnering closely with business, you will drive day to day operational and financial responsibilities including performance management and financial processes/ MIS delivery, governance, risks and controls. You will work closely with the respective unit heads, leads and their planning teams to support the productivity & optimization agenda.
Main functional responsibilities and deliverables
• Performance management and business partnering: • Work closely with business in areas of financial analysis and MIS, drive deeper data insights for cost/ expense drivers • Improve clarity and transparency in financial reporting, evolve MIS to suit business needs • Partner across the region to ensure consistency across locations • Support business strategy
• Forecasting & Budgeting: Drive the annual planning process
• Business cases & contract management: • Work closely with business to refine business cases, incl investments & benefits quantification; monitor initiative financials • Critically review contract proposals incl. assessment for business needs, appropriate governance and approvals, and save quantification
• Others such as cross border billing and cost allocations • Efficiency: identify process automation opportunities for efficiency within team
Requirements
• More than 8 years of experience preferably in banking and finance • Experience with business and financial planning, forecasting and budgeting, accounting • Strong in Excel and Powerpoint. Plus to have experience using finance databases (e.g. Oracle essbase) • Ability to operate independently, collaborating with senior colleagues to drive outcomes
