Job Title Assistant Project ManagerJob Description Summary To ensure that all construction activities are executed in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, standards, quality plans, and client requirements through effective implementation of Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) systems.Job Description About the Role:

• Implement the Project Quality Management Plan (PQMP). • Develop and maintain Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs). • Ensure compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and applicable standards. • Review method statements and quality procedures submitted by contractors and vendors. • Conduct quality induction and awareness sessions for site teams. • Perform routine inspections of civil, architectural, structural, and MEP works. • Verify construction activities against approved drawings and specifications. • Monitor workmanship standards and material quality. • Witness inspections and testing activities as per approved ITPs. • Ensure hold points and witness points are complied with before proceeding with subsequent activities. • Verify incoming materials against approved material submittals. • Ensure material inspection requests (MIRs) are reviewed and approved. • Monitor storage, handling, and preservation of materials. • Coordinate third-party testing and laboratory inspections. • Maintain records of material approvals and test certificates. • Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations from specifications. • Track corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). • Conduct root cause analysis for recurring quality issues. • Verify closure of NCRs and corrective actions. • Coordinate field and laboratory testing activities. • Review test reports and ensure compliance with acceptance criteria. • Support pre-commissioning and commissioning inspections. • Ensure punch point closure prior to handover. • Maintain quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and checklists. • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly quality reports. • Track quality KPIs and quality trends. • Maintain quality registers and document control systems. • Support audits and client inspections. • Monitor subcontractor quality performance. • Conduct vendor quality inspections and factory acceptance tests (FATs) where applicable. • Participate in vendor evaluations and quality audits. • Ensure subcontractors follow approved quality procedures. • Conduct internal quality audits. • Participate in client and certification audits. • Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Management System requirements. • Monitor implementation of lessons learned and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You:

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering • Certification in Quality Management, ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, or Lead Auditor (preferred). • Construction quality management • Inspection and testing procedures • Reading engineering drawings • Material quality control • Root cause analysis • Quality auditing • Knowledge of IS, ASTM, BS, ACI, NBC, and relevant codes • MS Office Suite • AutoCAD (basic understanding) • Procore, Aconex, BIM 360, or similar project management systems • Quality management software tools
