While working directly with the Finance/Accounting department, this position will be exposed to all many functions within a manufacturing plant. This esposure will Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as neededprimarily be in maintaining costs within the system, managing vendor master data, counting/tracking fixed assets, and learning how to report costs and review them with operations. #CPE
Principle Duties (includes, but is not limited to):
• Updating bills of material and machine routings as requested • Sets up and maintains standard costs in the ERP system (JDE) • Attention to detail while maintaining vendor master files and payment information • Work with Access and PowerBI to pull data, and learn the systems for future development • Assist with fixed asset counts, tracking progress, and reconciling results to the official ledger so as to make adjustment recommendations • Assist with data preparation for budgeting purposes • Coordinates with accounting manager, controller, and operations on sending out key reports and assisting with approval documentation • Learns to provide commentary around variances to standard costs • Assist in the preparation of • Maintains and improves a monthly checklist of department tasks, continuing to add list robustness
