Primary Purpose of this position: Install, startup and commission commercial/industrial HVAC equipment.
Specific Job Duties:
• Follow and adhere to all company safety requirements and processes
• Install per manufacturer specifications and company policies:
• Manual dampers and supporting hardware
• Flex and sheet metal ductwork and associated duct fittings in light commercial and residential buildings
• Copper refrigerant lines to air conditioning units, including brazing and soldering
• HVAC related equipment including split systems and roof top units up to 20 tons
• Design/draw necessary duct fittings in the field to facilitate installation
• Wire both low and line voltage to cooling and heating equipment
• Pre-measure jobs to determine material required for installation
• Receive material and equipment required for each job, confirm accuracy and transport to job site
• Ensure proper installation of gas line connections to heating equipment
• Complete readings on machines and take necessary steps based on readings
• Accurately complete required job documentation in a timely manner
• Work with other team members and departments to meet job/project deadlines and specifications
Formal education, certifications and/or experience required:
• Must hold a Universal Refrigerant Certificate or be willing to obtain
• 1-3 years’ experience of HVAC Installation

• Punctual and regular attendance
• Ability to work on a team and interact with people
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of various HVAC equipment
• Must have the ability to travel to job sites
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet company driver qualification policy
