About this role
Responsible for driving the establishment, commercial strategy, and business development of a new brokerage business. This role requires a results-oriented professional with proven experience in leadership, sales, and operational management, as well as a strong understanding of the financial markets across Asia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in setting up the business infrastructure, leading go-to-market initiatives, and developing the commercial framework to achieve sustainable growth in a dynamic start-up environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the overall setup and operational readiness of the new brokerage business. • Develop and execute business strategies to drive revenue growth and market expansion across Asia. • Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team, with a focus on sales and marketing functions. • Establish effective business processes and performance frameworks to ensure efficient operations and regulatory compliance. • Oversee the formulation of sales and marketing plans to achieve business objectives. • Collaborate with senior management and stakeholders to define long-term goals and business priorities. • Foster a professional, high-performance culture aligned with the company’s values and vision.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred. • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in management, commercial or business development within the financial services. • Strong understanding of the Asia financial markets with established industry networks preferred. • Demonstrated success in sales leadership and operational setup within start-up or growth environments. • Proven ability to design and execute commercial strategies that drive measurable business results. • Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to influence across multiple stakeholders. • High level of integrity, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen.
