About this role
Position Description The Head, Corporate Finance and Capital Markets - Indonesia a is responsible for growing and leading the investment banking function within Indonesia and for the overall performance of the IBD franchise. He/She will be the key originator and main point for Indonesia based client relationships, spearheading marketing efforts and developing the client base. He/She will be responsible for charting the direction of the Indonesia IBD business.
Key Areas of Responsibilities
• Manage existing relationships as well as identify new clients and opportunities and be able to generate transaction ideas and sell these to potential clients – this would include advising, structuring transactions and arrange equity financing for these clients.
• Scanning and evaluating potential candidates for fund raising, advisory and M&A activity – winning over the clients.
• Report and work closely with senior management across other departments as well as within investment banking team globally.
• Project, client and internal stakeholder management
Requirements
• Must have Senior Investment Banking experience in Indonesia, and preferably in SE Asia.
• Has experience in taking companies through the IPO process as well as advisory and M&A activity.
• Needs strong relationships within the local private and public sectors.
• Strong analytical skills coupled with the ability to devise creative solutions to problems.
• A dynamic person with a “strong personality” is required for this demanding role.
• Very strong networker at the senior level.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills, an effective negotiator.
• Extremely energetic with a proactive nature.
• A strong motivator.
• Ability to work effectively with overseas colleagues and fellow senior management.
• A team player with excellent management and leadership qualities.
