Join us to work on challenging, multi-country projects in a supportive, dynamic environment where your impact truly matters.</p> <p> </p> <p>We have an exciting opportunity to join our Corporate Transaction Tax (CTT) team, working within our International Tax and Transaction Services (ITTS) practice, for individuals with Restructuring Tax experience and/or enthusiasm to develop their skills/specialism in Restructuring and to develop the team.</p> <p> </p> <p>Within the CTT team, we are keen to speak with Tax Directors and Senior Managers with Restructuring tax experience and/or enthusiasm to develop technical skills and specialism in restructuring and insolvency.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Your key responsibilities </strong></p> <p>You would take a leading role in growing the Restructuring tax team nationally through:</p> <ul> <li>Developing a close working relationship with the FR practice to be first point-of-contact on tax matters.</li> <li>Developing a role within the broader Tax practice to become a go-to contact for Restructuring-related expertise.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>You would be providing tax input into</p> <ul> <li>Corporate reorganisations</li> <li>Business reviews & contingency plans planning</li> <li>Accelerated M&A processes</li> <li>Legal entity rationalisation projects</li> <li>Insolvency appointments and processes including Schemes of Arrangements and Restructuring Plans</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>The role can be based in London, Birmingham, Manchester or Leeds, with hybrid working and flexibility supported.</p> <p> </p> <p><strong>Skills and attributes for success</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>What we look for</p> <ul> <li>ACA/ATT/CTA or international equivalent/Law qualification</li> <li>Strong technical knowledge and experience in M&A tax and/or Restructuring tax</li> <li>A client-focused mindset with the ability to deliver high-quality outputs in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment</li> <li>Commercial awareness and experience identifying and pursuing business development opportunities</li> <li>Proven experience coaching and developing junior team members</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>What we offer you </strong></p> <p> </p> <p>At EY, we’ll develop you with future-focused skills and equip you with world-class experiences.
