We are now on a journey of scaling our business both here in Sweden and the Nordics.

We’re now looking for a Data Engineer to join our Data & Data Science team and play a key role in our data journey. In this role, you’ll help ensure that data truly drives better decisions across Qliro, by building and maintaining business-critical data products on our modern data platform.

What you’ll doBuild, maintain, and optimize data pipelines that extract and transform data into Snowflake

Own and continuously improve Qliro’s core dbt layer, which sits at the heart of our data products

Develop and support our cloud infrastructure

Develop and support both internal and external data products that are critical to the business

Work with event-driven data engineering in a modern, cloud-based tech stack

Ensure high data quality, reliability, and performance across the data platform

Collaborate closely with analytics, data science, and business stakeholders to turn data into value

What you'll bring to the teamYou are passionate about solving complex business problems and building high-quality data products at speed. You continuously look for ways to improve — whether it’s pipelines, models, or ways of working — and enjoy learning new tools and techniques together with your team.

You’re analytical and logical, and able to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders. You have a strong track record of using data to create business value, ideally within financial services or related industries.

A part from this, we want you to:Have strong experience working with SQL

Have hands-on experience with Python

Have experience with Snowflake or similar cloud data warehouses

Are comfortable working with Git and modern development workflows

Are fluent in English, both spoken and written

And it is highly meriting if you:Have worked with dbt in production environments

Have worked with integrating AI into processes

Have worked with the AWS framework

Have experience developing microservices
