About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Education team in the Department of Metabolism, Digestion and Reproduction as an Undergraduate/Postgraduate Administrator. The role will be instrumental in effectively delivering the BSc Reproductive and Developmental Sciences, and the MSc Reproductive and Developmental Biology programmes by supporting students and academic staff throughout the courses and ensuring the smooth operation of all aspects of the programme.
What you would be doing
You will provide comprehensive support to students, guiding them through their academic journey. You will work collaboratively with the programme team to manage multiple teaching and learning activities for the programme, as well as various administrative tasks, including processing applications, producing timetables and overseeing the assessment process, including organisation and oversight of exam boards. As the first point of contact for prospective and current students on the BSc Reproductive and Developmental Sciences, and the MSc Reproductive and Developmental Biology programmes, you will support the pastoral care and welfare support systems within the programme.
What we are looking for
Previous experience in a higher education setting, particularly in a customer-facing role Effective analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal confidently with students, staff and external stakeholders A methodical and accurate approach to work, with attention to detail Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team, providing help and assistance when needed Effective organisational skills, with the ability to manage one’s own workload and prioritise tasks appropriately
