Day-to-day, you’ll support the design, analysis, testing, and delivery of RF signature solutions, working within a multidisciplinary team to solve complex engineering challenges and produce high-quality technical outputs. Your responsibilities will include: <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Contribute to RF signature design, analysis, testing, and reporting</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support the development of engineering solutions using materials and structural design approaches</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Produce technical artefacts including CAD models, reports, and engineering documentation</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Support trials, testing, and validation activities including data analysis and interpretation</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams and engage with internal stakeholders</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Identify technical risks and contribute to mitigation activities</li> </ul> Essential experience of the Associate Research Engineer (RF Signatures): <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Strong engineering analysis and structured problem-solving skills</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Experience contributing to engineering design, development, or technical problem solving</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Competence in CAD tools such as SolidWorks</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Ability to produce clear and accurate engineering documentation and reports</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Understanding of core engineering fundamentals including materials and design principles</li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt;font-family:arial, helvetica, sans-serif">Hands-on, proactive approach with experience working in multidisciplinary teams</li> </ul> Essential qualifications for the Associate Research Engineer (RF Signatures): Master’s degree in a relevant engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace, Materials) We value difference and we don’t have a fixed idea when it comes to background or education, provided you can show the required level of experience and willingness to learn then we would like to hear from you.
