About this role
This position is responsible for all activities related to selling of products and sales administration, stocks & debtors management, cost control, as well as the profit and loss of the assigned section and key accounts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Achieve or exceed annual sales budget and margin objectives for the assigned territory or market segments while maintaining expenses with assigned budget guidelines. • Establish strong business relationships with existing customer base and develop value relationships with potential clients to expand business. • Responsible to maintain an existing account base and identify & develop growth opportunities within assigned sector (savory) to expand market coverage as well as market penetration. • Generate the plan in full cooperation with suppliers and direct senior sales manager. Implement and monitor the marketing plan. • Generate and keep updated a marketing/sales plan for relevant products by identifying key customers and products for the business, monitoring competitors’ activities, to recommend objectives and strategies for various suppliers and their products. • Utilize the Brenntag Sales Process and update the CRM with the details regarding client communications/sales activities on daily basis, as well as complete all other assigned reporting requirements. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, reviewing professional publications, or establishing personal networks. • Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Food engineering, Nutrition, Chemistry desirable • Experience: 8+ years of chemical or ingredients sales experience in food industry • Fluent in English (verbal and written) • Work independently with minimum supervision • Enthusiastic, self-initiative and aggressive • Excellent business/commercial acumen • Good communication and interpersonal skills, and customer oriented
