This roles ensures adherance to production schedules, quality standards, and safety requirements while contributing to continous improvement and operational excellence within the forge facility.</p> <p>The operator works closely with supervisors, maintenance, quality, and material handling teams to meet customer and business objectives.</p></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Responsibilities</H2> </div><div><p><strong>Production & Equipment Operation</strong></p> <ul> <li>Operate forging presses, hammers, furnances, trim presses, and related equipement according to work instructions and standard operating procedures</li> <li>Load raw material (billets, bars, or performs) into heating furances and transfer heated material to forging equipment safely</li> <li>Set up and adjust tooling, dies, and machine parameters as required (based on expereience level)</li> <li>Montior equipement performance and make minor adjustments to maintain production efficiency and part quality</li> <li>Maintain required production rates while minimizing scrap and rework</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Quality & Inspection</strong></p> <ul> <li>Inspect forged parts using calipars, gauges, templates, and other measuring devices</li> <li>Perfrom in-process checks to ensure parts meets dimensional and visual specifications</li> <li>Identify and report non-conforming materials or process deviations</li> <li>Complete required production and quality documentation accurately and timely</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Safety & Compliance</strong></p> <ul> <li>Follow all plant safety policies and procedures, including lockout/tagout and hot-work precautions</li> <li>Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) such as heat-resistent gloves, face shields, safety glasses, hearing protection, and steel-toed boots</li> <li>Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards</li> <li>Immediately report unsafe conditions, incidents, or equipment malfunctions</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Material Handling and Workflow</strong></p> <ul> <li>Transport materials and finished goods using forklifts, hoists, or other approved lifting devices (as certified)</li> <li>Stage materials to ensure uninterrupted workflow</li> <li>Assist in die changes and setup activites to minimize downtime</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong>Maintenance & Continous Improvement</strong></p> <ul> <li>Perform routine equipment checks and basic preventative maintenance tasks</li> <li>Support maintenance teams during troubleshooting and repairs</li> <li>Participate in continous improvment initatives to enhance safety, quality, and productivity</li> <li>Provide feedback on process improvements and tooling performance</li> <li>Any other job duties as assgined</li> </ul></div></div><div style="padding:10.0px 0.0px;border:1.0px solid transparent"><div style="font-size:16.0px;word-wrap:break-word"><H2 style="font-size:1.0em;margin:0.0px">Job Qualifications</H2> </div><div><p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED equivalent</li> <li>2+ years of Machining Experience in a manufacutring environment</li> <li>Basic troubleshooting skills; such as identifying tooling issues</li> <li>Familarity with the use of measuring devices</li> <li>Able to multitask</li> <li>Must be a US Person (Citizen or Green Card Holder) or have the ability to obtain the necessary Government licensing to work with controlled technology and products</li> </ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>GKN Experience</li> <li>Ability to read blueprints</li> <li>Expereince within an aerospace manufacturing environment preferred</li> <li>Expereince with Zimmerman and Siemens Control</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Standing and walking (At least 7hrs/day)</li> <li>Ability to carry and lift weights up to 25lbs</li> <li>Bending, squatting, reaching, and pulling required (At least 2hrs/day)</li> <li>Use of hands for fine dexterity, light and strong grasping (At least 7hrs/day)</li> </ul></div></div></div><p><span style="font-family:Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"><span style="font-size:16.0px">We’ll offer you fantastic challenges and amazing opportunities.
