Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, you will play a vital role in the overall logistics and operation of the warehouse. You will be responsible for the receipt, processing, storage, and distribution of raw materials and finished goods, whilst adhering to strict compliance with all appropriate regulatory standards. </span></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><strong>Key Responsibilities include:</strong></span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift trucks to safely load, unload and move materials across the warehouse and yard areas.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Receive, inspect and store incoming chemical goods in compliance with company and regulatory procedures.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch, ensuring accuracy and proper labelling in line with customer and compliance requirements.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct stock checks using warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP).</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Follow all site-specific safety protocols, including the handling and storage of hazardous materials (e.g. COSHH requirements).</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Ensure all containers are correctly sealed, labelled and stored.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Support warehouse housekeeping duties to ensure a clean, organised and hazard-free working environment.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Working closely with production to ensure materials are available as scheduled ensuring all deadlines are met.</span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><strong>Who You Are:</strong></span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Previous experience in a warehouse environment.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience operating a Counterbalance and/or Reach forklift truck – refresher courses are available for expired licences.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">A current UK Drivers Licence.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow process-driven tasks accurately.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Excellent communication and team-working skills.</span></li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><strong>Nice to have:</strong></span></p> <ul style="list-style-type:disc" type="disc"> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Experience working within a cGMP or regulated environment.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">Familiarity with a computerised stock control system, and prior experience using SAP.</span></li> <li style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif"><span style="font-family:verdana, geneva, sans-serif">VNA forklift experience (training can be provided for the correct candidate).</span></li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:12.0px"><span style="font-family:Verdana, Geneva, sans-serif"><strong>What we offer:</strong> We are curious minds that come from a broad range of backgrounds, perspectives, and life experiences.
