About the job:
Within the CIB Spain & Portugal Operations team, we are seeking a professional to join the Reconciliations & Management team. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing the entity’s various reconciliations to ensure financial integrity and control across the area.
Core Responsibilities:
• Preparation of responses to requests and inquiries from regulatory authorities.
• Posting and validation of accounting entries to final ledger accounts.
• Contribute to process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
• Support and participation in internal and external audit activities.
Required Qualifications:
• At least 2 years of experience in reconciliation activities, including the investigation and resolution of reporting, accounting, and data integrity discrepancies.
• Proactive and self-motivated approach to work.
• Strong teamworking and collaboration skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
• University degree and high English language skills, both written and verbal.
