You qualify for the GS-14 grade level if you possess one (1) year of specialized experience at the GS-13 grade level or equivalent performing duties such as: Leading the operation and maintenance of financial and business systems. Monitoring the design, development, maintenance and updating of financial management and business systems. Ensuring completeness and comprehensiveness in the design, development, maintenance, and updating of financial management and business systems. Recognizes emergent problems and conducts in-depth technical analysis. Building and maintaining cooperative partnerships with customers and stakeholders. Major DutiesAs a Supervisory Financial Systems Manager, you will perform the following duties: Directing, coordinating, and overseeing the work of subordinates to include making decisions on work problems presented by team leaders. Provide advice and guidance to management on risk management, internal controls, financial management, financial systems, and interpretation of audit, accounting standards, and regulations applicable to systems compliance and security Providing leadership and direction in the performance of the organizations' financial management and business systems within the program. Leading change by conducting research and promoting best practices in financial management systems and efficient financial processes. Ensuring completeness and comprehensiveness in the design, development, maintenance, and updating of financial management and business systems. Providing advice on schedule and performance oversight to building the enterprise business and financial system
