About this role
The ideal candidate must have the following:
A minimum of NVQ Level 3 or equivalentAchieved at least grades A*- C (or equivalent) in GCSE English and MathsExperience of working with children in Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2Experience of taking groups and a whole class on your ownA proven track record of working with small groups in an educational setting and the ability to show evidence of impact on children’s attainment through the use of interventionsBe very well organised, have great communication skills and an enthusiasm for supporting children of all abilitiesGood ICT skillsA positive and proactive approach when supporting learning and behaviourWork well under pressure and achieve set targetsAn understanding of the role of Teaching Assistant and other professionals working in the school
