About this role
We are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Assistant Year Leader to join our secondary school pastoral team.
Working closely with the Academic Year Leader, you will play a key role in supporting the academic progress, well-being and behaviour of a designated year group. You will help monitor student achievement, promote positive behaviour for learning, and provide targeted support for students.
This is a highly rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting young people to succeed. You will work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to raise standards and ensure every student is able to thrive.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting student progress, attendance, behaviour and well-being Working with tutors, families and external agencies Contributing to safeguarding, inclusion and pastoral support systems Assisting with events, admissions and day-to-day year group managementThe ideal candidate will:
