The Role
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, highly motivated, and enthusiastic KS2 teacher to join our KS2 team. This is a fixed term, full-time position, in the first instance beginning 1st September 2026 and ending 31st August 2027 due to budgetary constraints.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering a rich, creative curriculum that inspires children, builds their independence, and prepares them confidently for KS1.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons aligned with the National Curriculum. Assess, track, and report on pupils’ progress, adapting teaching to support and challenge all learners. Maintain a positive, well-managed, and inspiring classroom environment. Foster strong partnerships with parents, carers, and external support staff. Contribute actively to the wider school community and participate in staff meetings and professional development.
What We Are Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential. Applications from both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers are welcome. Proven experience teaching within Reception. High expectations for pupil achievement, progress, and behaviour. A collaborative team player with excellent communication and organizational skills. A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
