About the roleWe are seeking a passionate and skilled Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning across the school. You will work closely with class teachers to deliver high-quality support, lead learning activities, and contribute to positive outcomes for all pupils.
Key responsibilitiesPlan, prepare and deliver learning activities for individuals, groups, or whole classesProvide high-quality support to pupils, including those with additional needsCover lessons in the absence of the class teacher when requiredSupport the assessment of pupil progress and contribute to planningPromote a positive and inclusive learning environmentWork collaboratively with teachers and other staff to raise achievementWhat we are looking forExperience of working effectively within a primary school settingHLTA status or equivalent experience/qualificationStrong understanding of teaching and learning strategiesThe ability to motivate, inspire and support pupils of all abilitiesExcellent communication and teamwork skillsA commitment to high expectations and safeguarding practices
