Part Time, 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday 8:45am - 3:15pm)

Salary NJC Grade A1/B1, Scale Points 3 - 6, £25,614 - £26,846 per annum

Actual Salary £17,505 - £18,347 per annum

The Governors are looking for an exceptional, enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to support our Nursery and Reception class at Holy Name Catholic Voluntary Academy.

This is an opportunity for a committed and passionate practitioner to support the delivery of the EYFS curriculum and help create a nurturing, stimulating, and inclusive environment where young children feel safe, valued, and inspired to learn within our Nursery provision and support with learning in the Reception class. You will support children’s learning and development through play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors, while providing emotional care to build confidence, independence, and positive relationships.

Working closely with the EYFS lead, you will contribute to high-quality teaching and the smooth day-to-day running of the nursery, as well as build strong, positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues. There will also be opportunities to support learning within the Reception classroom.

Teaching Assistant support staff are also important members of our Lunchtime Team.

We are looking for an Early Years Teaching Assistant who:

Supports the Catholic/Christian ethos of the school.Is an enthusiastic, caring and reflective Early Years practitioner. Has a good understanding of child development and how young children learn. Is well organised and able to work effectively as part of a team. Is proactive, motivated and committed to high-quality Early Years practice. Is able to nurture and support children through a child-centred approach.Is fully committed to achieving the very best outcomes for every child. Has experience of working with children with EAL and supporting SEN pupils. Will be committed to attending staff and moderation meetings across the Trust, after school..What we can offer you:
