About this role
We are seeking to appoint a cleaner to join our maintenance team in Irthlingborough Nursery and Infant School from September 2026.
As a cleaner you will be responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of an area of the school and ensuring it meets health, safety and hygiene standards for students, staff, and visitors.
The successful candidates will,
have responsibility for the for the day-to-day cleaning throughout the school ensuring high standards are maintained. have good organisational and time management skills. be a team player. be able to meet the physical demands of the role. have good communication skills. You should be able to work using your own initiative but also as part of a team. Previous cleaning experience is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided. Hours of Work: 3:15pm to 5:45pm, Monday to Friday. Term time, and one week during the school holiday period as required, a total of 39 weeks per year. Please note that holidays cannot be taken in term time, but an allowance for holiday entitlement is paid accordingly.
