About this role

An exciting opportunity has become available at our state of the art school. This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and experienced Behaviour Support Officer.

Our ethos of ‘Ensuring Excellence’ is at the forefront of everything that we do. The successful candidate will lead by example and assist the pastoral staff with behaviour, learning and academic achievement and contribute to the early identification of barriers to learning.

Excellent communication skills

Full working knowledge of relevant polices/codes of practice /legislation

Ability to plan effective actions for students at risk of underachieving

Understand range of support services/providers

Ability to relate well to children and adults

Understanding of principles of child development and learning processes and in particular, barriers to learning
