Main duties of the job
Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is looking for someone to act as the main admin resource for the team, processing referrals, letters and other communications effectively to aid with the smooth running of the reception area and provide efficient administrative support for team members.
Location: Unither House, Curfew Bell Road, Chertsey, KT16 9FG
Work Pattern: Monday (9AM to 12PM), Tues, Weds, Thurs (9AM to 16PM)

This role is working within i-access, a successful, countywide drug and alcohol treatment service for Surrey residents delivering tier 2, 3 and 4 substance misuse interventions across 3 main bases and 25 satellite locations. i-access is run collaboratively by SABP, PH / SCC and Via under a cooperative agreement which is one of partnership and transparency and contributes to Surrey Heartlands wider strategic ambitions.
Job description Job responsibilities
Receive and process referrals to the relevant clinician and system(s) Process discharge paperwork and update system(s) accordingly Type all letters dictated or provided by the team Book appointments on the patient record system Take minutes at team meetings and transcribe accurately Answer telephone calls and relay any messages in a timely manner General administrative tasks such as typing, copying, scanning, printing, laminating etc Provide support to team members in setting up rooms for meetings Check and book rooms for other team members upon request Scanning documents for uploading to patient record system Receive and respond to e-mails in an appropriate manner, forwarding where necessary's Monitor and raise purchase requisitions for stationery, services (such as interpreters) and supplies for the department Arranging clinic appointments
Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
NVQ Level 3 in Business Admin or equivalent administrative experience (3 years)
Experience Essential
3 years' experience of clerical and administrative work requiring a high degree of accuracy and working in accordance with policies/procedures.
