Monthly stock checks are carried out by the Practice Nurses but you may be asked to help in the event one of them is on annual leave. All audits are documented and time is allocated for these.

We would prefer if you have experience of working in General Practice including chronic disease management, you will be expected to be able to take bloods , do ECG,s, BP checks and basic dressings.

About us

As stated previously, the position is for 3 days per week working Monday, Tuesday and Friday between 8am - 4.30pm. We are a very friendly practice based in Central Middlesbrough and have recently undergone refurbishment and increased our clinical rooms by another 4. We are heavily involved in working with Healthwatch, Deep End Network , our local LMC and of course our PCN.

We are a forward thinking practice and our friendly team are fantastic, they all work together and help each other. the staff are appreciated and have a flexible approach to work so if anyone needs time off for say to attend an event, if we have enough notice we can usually swap the shift round so they can attend without having to use their annual leave allowance.

the staff are award winning and friendly as shown by our friends and family results. Our appointment system is such that some days we even have spare appointments at the end of the day for a GP. We can access a lot of other services for patients, our PCN runs it's own extended access as we have availability to book GP, Nurse and Phlebotomy appointments either on a night or a weekend, our staff also have the opportunity to work in these services if they want.

Together we all hope for a work life balance that we can be proud of and this is something we strive to achieve.
