About this role

Job summary

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the East Surrey CTPLD as a coordinator for our Oasis Therapy Suite.

Oasis is a unique facility that is comprised of a hydrotherapy pool used for both service users and external paying users, and therapy spaces which are used by team clinicians including Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

You will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to organise and carry out your work within clear timeframes. You will be integral to ensuring the day to day running of the facility, including overseeing the maintenance of the hydrotherapy pool and building in general, managing the hydrotherapy pool timetable and contracts and liaising with multiple agencies. Successful candidates will be expected to undertake life saver training, this will be provided by SABP. Applicants will need to have excellent communication skills and enjoy working as part of a team but be able to work independently. With strong IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office. Experience with electronic patient record systems and ordering platforms is desirable, though not essential, as full training will be provided.

The successful applicant will be able to work effectively in a busy environment, managing their workload well while handling frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.

Main duties of the job

To provide a link between the Service Manager, professionals working within the Oasis Therapy Suite, SABP corporate services and other external agencies. To take day to day responsibility of the hydrotherapy pool including overseeing all maintenance and management. To provide first contact to people who use our services and all visitors and users of Oasis and offer life saving to external users to the hydrotherapy pool.To provide full administrative support to the functioning of the Therapy Suite.

Qualifications Essential

Educated to GCSE level or equivalent

Desirable

Administration Qualification Life Saving Qualification(Willingness to undertake).

Knowledge & Experience Essential

Extensive experience working in an office environment Significant time experiencing working at a senior administrative level. Experience in supervising and appraising administrative staff. Good working knowledge of administrative and secretarial processes e.g. electronic filing systems and formatting documents/reports. Handle confidential information responsibly and in line with organisational policies.

Desirable

Experience of working with people with learning disabilities Experience of interacting with individuals in potentially challenging or sensitive situations Experience of organising maintenance contracts Experience of ordering and maintaining systems Experience of using electronic patient records systems

Skills Essential

Ability to swim and undertake life saving training qualification
