We are looking to appoint a Teaching Assistant for the Federation.

This position is for a skilled and enthusiastic TA who is willing to be a good team member working alongside friendly hard-working colleagues and lovely, happy children. The role will entail supporting the children, working alongside the class teacher, other adults, carrying out administrative tasks and liaising with parents.

Hours of work, 8.30am – 3.30pm, Monday – Friday.

Essential skills:

Good numeracy and literacy skillsExperience of working with or caring for children of relevant age.Willingness to carry out relevant trainingAbility to work with small groups of children to support their learning needs.Level 3 or higher qualificationsDesirable skills:

Experience of supporting children with special needsExperience of leading interventionsApplications from candidates who are looking to gain experience before starting teacher training, or who have previous experience supporting children in school would be most welcome.
