About this role
Hillcrest Academy are seeking to recruit an inspirational colleagues for the role of Level 1 SEND Teaching Assistant. This role is of great importance to our work as an Academy. The successful candidate will work under the direct instruction of teaching/senior staff to support access to learning for pupils and provide general support to the teacher in the management of pupils and the classroom.
Potential applicants should have:
Experience with working with or caring for children of relevant age.Good numeracy/literacy skills.The ability to attend to the students’ personal needs, and implement related personal programmes, including social, health, physical, hygiene, first aid and welfare matters.Ability to support pupil’s needs and asses this effectively.
