Main duties of the job The role of an Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) at Operose Health is fundamental in delivering top-quality primary care. Situated at Summerfield Care Centre, the position offers a competitive salary of up to £60,000 based on experience, working 22 hours over the weekend. This role requires a compassionate, ambitious, resourceful, and excellent healthcare professional who can provide exemplary patient care from initial diagnosis through to treatment and assessment. Working on Saturdays and Sundays, the role involves collaborating with a general practice team, providing leadership on nursing policies and procedures, and ensuring safe, clinically sound decision-making in patient treatment. Candidates need experience in Primary Care and should be NMC registered nurses with either advanced clinical practice qualifications or working towards non-medical prescriber status. A qualification in minor injuries and illnesses is essential, with Level 7 (MSc) Practitioners preferred.

Main Responsibilities: As a valued member of the Operose Health team, your key duties will include:
Provide care for presenting patient from initial history taking clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and evaluation of care. You must demonstrate safe, clinical decision-making and expert care, including assessment and diagnosis skills for patients within the general practice. You will work collaboratively with the general practice team to meet the needs of the patients, supporting delivery of policy and procedures and providing nurse leadership as required.Ideal Candidate: What we look for in new colleagues:
Experience in a Primary Care setting. NMC registered nurse with advance clinical practice tor working towards non-medical prescriber. Minor injury and illness qualification essential and the ability to maintain and monitor standards of care It is preferred that the ideal candidates is a level 7 (MSc) Practitioner, although candidates with accreditation or a MSc course to ACP status may also be considered.
