Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Pharmacy department to lead on roster management.
The role will be 22.5hours a week, ideally spread across 3-5 working days, but we are open to flexible working and accommodating your preferred working days and hours.
You will support the pharmacy Senior Leadership Team and Trust Rostering department in a key project to implement e-rostering and e-job planning across the Pharmacy Department. Based in the Pharmacy Business & Administrative Team, your main day to day duties will include working with Team leads to produce rotas that enable smooth and professional running of the Pharmacy Department. The role will also involve project and general administrative support to keep the departmental electronic roster accuratelymaintained.
This role will be heavily based on use of the e-rostering system(Allocate)as well as use of Excel planners, for complex rotas with many shift types.
The candidate must thereforebe someone who ishighly computer-literate, with exceptional attention to detail and has a logical approach to work.
Main duties of the job
To supervise and administer the Electronic Rostering system for the Pharmacy departmentin accordance withlocal departmental agreement, including accurately reflecting TOILaccrued, bank,overtimeand enhanced pay shifts.
To work closely with team leads to co-produce rosters for various shift types, that provide efficient staff time utilisation.
To support the implementation of Pharmacy Job Planning programmeand other e-roster projects, in collaboration with the Pharmacy ProgrammeManager.
Tomonitore-rostering system issues to ensure maximisation of Bank & Electronic Rostering benefits for the Trust.
To provide a high-quality business administrative support and advice to the Pharmacy Directorate. Ensuring that all administrative activities are executed with maximum efficiency and effectiveness, with particular emphasis on appropriateness, accuracy, and timeliness.

Qualifications & Education Essential
GCSE Maths and English Language - grade c or equivalent NVQ 3 or equivalent
