Main duties of the job As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN), you will:

Work in a multi disaplinary team covering a varied patient caseload

Use state-of-the-art technology, equipment and facilities

Supervise, support and develop junior members of the team

Provide high-quality perioperative care in a multidisciplinary team setting

Create high-quality care and patient experiences that are clinically effective and evidence based

Have ample opportunities for continuous growth and personal development,

Shrewsbury hospital, ranked as 'Good' in the last CQC inspection, is purpose built and well equipped with 30 en-suite bedrooms, 3 operating theatres, an endoscopy suite, an Ambulatory Care Unit, and a busy outpatients department which includes physiotherapy and diagnostic imaging. Our diagnostic provision includes X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI and CT facilities.

We offer the most up to date surgical treatments combined with a warm welcome and a professional and caring service from our matron-led nursing team. We specialise in the areas of orthopaedics, ophthalmology, cosmetic surgery, and women's health, but also undertake general surgery, urology, and interventions for chronic pain management.

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN) at our hospital, you'll be focused, detail-oriented empathetic with great communication skills. You're registered with the appropriate governing body, and you bring the qualifications and experience relevant to your registration, including NMC or HCPC. With post-registration experience in an endoscopy environment.

As an Endoscopy Practitioner (ODP or RN), you will:

Person Specification

Qualifications Essential

Experience Essential

With post-registration experience in an endoscopy environment.
