Job summary
We are seeking Two Part-Time Portfolio GPs (2 to 4 sessions each) to join our innovative and forward-thinking practice team in the heart of Greenwich.
This is an excellent opportunity for GPs interested in combining clinical work with leadership, digital transformation, and service innovation.

Main duties of the job
The post holder will deliver high-quality, patient-centred care across multiple consultation modes and contribute to service development.
Duties include:
Face-to-face, telephone, video, and online consultations Duty doctor and triage support Clinical management of a diverse suburban population Safe prescribing and medication reviews Accurate clinical records -EMIS Web QOF and local enhanced service delivery Participation in extended access services MDT working and clinical meetings Minimal home visits due to patient demographics Leadership & Innovation
Support and develop our digital ChatDoc triage system Contribute to service redesign and digital transformation Opportunity to develop leadership and special interests Optional involvement in education and supervision

This is a flexible GP role within a supportive and forward-thinking team.
The post holder will:
Provide high-quality clinical care across multiple consultation types-Deliver safe, effective, and evidence-based care across face-to-face, telephone, video, and online consultations. Assess, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions holistically, ensuring appropriate safety-netting, referral, and follow-up. Support long- term condition management and anticipatory care planning where appropriate.Participate in duty doctor rota and triage -Take part in the daily duty doctor rota, managing same-day demand, clinical triage, and urgent presentations. Prioritise clinical need, manage risk appropriately, and support timely decision-making for urgent and emergency cases, including coordination of care and escalation when required.Support ChatDoc digital streaming service-Contribute to the ongoing development and delivery of our digital access and triage system ChatDoc. Support safe clinical streaming, improve patient access pathways, and help refine workflows to ensure efficient and appropriate use of clinical resources. Engage with digital innovation and new models of care delivery.Work collaboratively within the MDT-Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team including GPs, nurses, ANPs, physician associates, clinical pharmacists, and administrative staff. Promote a culture of shared learning, mutual support, and effective communication. Participate in team meetings and contribute to coordinated patient care across services.Contribute to clinical governance and practice meetings-Actively participate in clinical governance activities, significant event reviews, audits, and practice meetings. Ensure safe practice through adherence to clinical guidelines, policies, and evidence-based care. Support continuous quality improvement and contribute to risk management processes.Support service improvement and innovation initiatives - Contribute to the development and implementation of new ways of working within the practice, including digital transformation and workflow redesign. Support service improvement projects aimed at enhancing patient access, efficiency, and care quality. Engage in innovation with support and mentorship from senior clinical leaders.Support administrative responsibilities-Ensure timely and accurate completion of clinical administration including referrals, correspondence, results management, and repeat prescription requests. Maintain high-quality clinical records in line with GMC standards and practice policy. Support effective workflow management within EMIS Web and contribute to safe communication and continuity of care. There is scope to develop leadership roles and clinical or non-clinical special interests.
