About this role

Job summary

This is an opportunity to join the Ceredigion Community Outpatient Team. Applications are invited from motivated and enthusiastic individuals for the post of a Full time Administration Assistant based at Cardigan.

This is predominantly a Reception role involving assisting the public in person and by telephone. This post would be considered as a job share.

We are becoming more community focused providing services across the County of Ceredigion. The ability to travel to community sites in a timely manner is essential.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will provide a range of administrative and reception duties, which will include undertaking typing duties, using word processing i.e. letters and general typing, to include filing of clinical and non-clinical correspondence.

Duties will also include scanning, photocopying and ordering office supplies. The post holder will provide administrative support in respect of keeping databases up to date and providing information for reporting purposes as required and booking and completing of clinics. There will also be manning the main outpatient front desk involving liaising by telephone and in person with patients.

The post holder will adhere to the Health Board Guidelines and undertake any other duties as appropriate to the nature and grade of the post.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
