About this role
Job summary
This role offers the opportunity to deliver high quality, neuro affirming autism and ADHD assessments for children and young people, while being part of a values led organisation that genuinely prioritises clinician wellbeing, professional autonomy and clinical excellence.
At Held Health, clinicians are encouraged to bring their expertise, curiosity and compassion to their work. You will contribute to gold standard diagnostic assessments, work collaboratively with families and professionals, and support ongoing service development as we continue to grow. This is an ideal role for a clinician who is passionate about neurodevelopmental practice and wants flexibility, support and the chance to shape meaningful outcomes for children and young people.
Main duties of the job
As a Neurodevelopmental Assessor, you will play a key role in contributing to autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments for children and young people under 18 (up to 25 with an EHCP). You will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, gathering and analysing assessment information, contributing to formulation, and producing high quality, neuro affirming reports.
You will engage with children, young people and their families throughout the assessment process, offering guidance, clarity and post diagnostic support where appropriate. The role also involves working alongside colleagues and partner agencies, contributing to MDT discussions, and supporting clinical excellence across neurodevelopmental pathways. There are opportunities to contribute to service development and to further develop specialist assessment skills with supervision and CPD support.
