About this role

Job summary

We are looking for an organised, motivated and reliable individual to join our busy and friendly Estates admin team. The post holder will need to work flexibly to support the smooth running of the Estates Department. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong administrative and clerical skills.

Main duties of the job

Provide a clerical, administrative and full secretarial service to theFacilities/Estates within the Health Board.

Process, monitor and receipt requisitions via the Oracle financial system in line with the standing financial instructions at the request of budget holders.

Make and receive phone calls (08.00 -16.00), using initiative and judgement when handling enquiries. Take action and provide feedback as appropriate, ensuring that messages are relayed and action is taken.

Provides a secretarial service to the Department and will have the ability to prioritise work and deal with competing demands and interruptions.

We would particularly welcome applications from Welsh speakers; but even if you don't speak any Welsh, or want to develop your skills, don't worry: the health board will support you with training.

Qualifications and/or Knowledge Essential

GCSE English and Mathematics Typing/word processing qualification level 3 or equivalent experience
