About this role

Summary As the public face of our properties, you’ll provide a warm, friendly welcome, give information about the property, answer questions and make sure everyone has an enjoyable and memorable visit.

Salary: £13.25 per hour

Contract/duration: Fixed term contract until 06-Sep-2026

Hours/working pattern: Seasonal, flexible, weekends. This is a zero-hour contract, meaning we can’t guarantee a set number of hours each week.?While we aim to provide a consistent work pattern, flexibility is needed as schedules may change based on business needs. We’ll try to give as much notice as possible. The role includes weekends and Bank Holidays but does not require evening or split shifts.??

Will be discussed at interview but will include one day of the weekend.

What it's like to work here The Studland Peninsula is one of the most biodiverse areas in the UK and is home to some of its rarest species, including all 6 British reptiles. The site’s wildlife rich habitats and stunning sandy beaches draw in over 1.5 million visitors each year, by land and by sea. Reporting to the Welcome Manager, you’ll be part of a team of up to 16 people working together and alongside other teams across the site. Working in a unique location like Studland Bay requires commitment and an energetic approach.

What you'll be doing Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience across our car parks and beach. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can. You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience; fundraising, sharing our nature stories, patrolling the beach, site presentation and event promotion - no two days are the same. Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide. This role would suit anyone with enthusiasm for delivering great customer service.
