About this role
We are seeking enthusiastic, committed and caring Teaching Assistants to support teaching and learning across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.
The successful candidate will ideally have:
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare or aboveExperience of working with primary-aged children in KS1 or KS2Experience of delivering interventions to support pupil progressA good understanding of phonics, reading and early maths strategiesExperience of supporting children with SEND or an understanding of inclusive practiceGood literacy, numeracy and communication skillsThe ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, parents and carersExperience of supporting learning through targeted interventions and classroom supportSkilled interactions to support children’s communication, learning and developmentConfidence using ICT, including iPads, computers and educational appsThe ability to work effectively as part of a teamA positive, flexible and reliable approach to workHigh expectations for all pupils and a commitment to inclusionA strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection proceduresGCSE English and Maths (Grade C/4 or equivalent)
