Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant with Avery Healthcare, your primary responsibility will be to provide high-quality personal care to the residents, contributing to the care team to maintain seamless service delivery. In this role, you'll assist residents with personal hygiene care while ensuring their independence, dignity, and respect. You'll also assess and understand clinical risk areas such as weight loss, pressure sores, and signs of infections, escalating identified risks promptly. Furthermore, you will act courteously towards residents and visitors, and practice safe systems of work across various tasks. You'll play a crucial role in creating a respectful and supportive environment.

Your focus as Care Assistant will be to deliver high standards of personal care, contributing fully to the care team to ensure continuity of services to residents.
Other responsibilities will include:
Assisting residents in all their personal hygiene care ensuring optimum independence, dignity and respect of individuals at all times.
Recognising and understanding clinical risk areas in residents such as weight loss, pressure sores, risk of falls, sign of infections and escalate any identified risks in a timely manner. Acting courteously towards residents and their visitors, respecting the dignity and individuality of each resident. Practicing safe systems of work across the range of task.ABOUT YOU

Qualifications Essential
Candidates must demonstrate effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing, possess initiative, and show respect toward all individuals within the care home. Adaptability and flexibility to handle various responsibilities at short notice are essential. No previous experience is required as a comprehensive induction and training program is provided.
