I3 Primary Care Network is seeking an enthusiastic and forward-thinking GP to join our team at Rotton Park Medical Centre on a fixed-term salaried contract until 31st March 2027.Start date before end of August 2026.
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic General Practitioner to join our team at Rotton Park Medical Centre, a small vibrant inner-city training practice. The successful candidate will be based at a single site, working alongside experienced salaried GPs and GP Partners in a supportive collaborative environment. We are supported by a established administrative and nursing team and serve approx. 5000 patients. Clinics are mainly face to face with 15 patients per clinic. Each session is 4 hours and 10 mins long with 3 hours of patient facing time and 1 hour 10mins of admin time. Home visiting rates are low. There is a comprehensive induction and ongoing clinical support from the team and regular practice meetings.
As a training practice, we host GP registrars, FY2 doctors, and medical students, creating a rich and dynamic setting for professional development.
We are currently looking to hire 2 GPs and have up to 9 clinical sessions to offer, with funding available to support this.
This role is funded under the NHS Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS)

Provide high-quality, patient-centred care across the PCN Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, pharmacists, mental health practitioners, and social prescribers Conduct consultations, assessments, and follow-ups with patients Support patient care using ARRS-funded services Contribute to chronic disease management, health promotion, and disease prevention Participate in clinical audits, training, and quality improvement initiatives Support the development and implementation of new care pathways aligned with ARRS objectives

Provide a comprehensive range of clinical services Participate in the Enhanced Access Service where required Undertake face-to-face consultations, telephone consultations, and home visits where appropriate Make autonomous clinical decisions based on presenting conditions Participate in on-call duties as part of the rota Support patient adherence to treatment plans and provide medication advice Assess and refer patients with mental health needs in line with guidelines Manage patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions Screen patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness Develop and implement patient care plans in line with current clinical guidelines Maintain accurate and contemporaneous patient records Contribute to audits and data collection Issue acute and repeat prescriptions for patients consulted and on a rota basis Review correspondence and take appropriate clinical action on a rota basis Review and action clinical results on a rota basis

Qualifications Essential
Qualifications: Full GMC Registration with licence to practise Entry on the GP Register / performers list Included on a Medical Performers List or eligible Evidence of ongoing professional development
Experience Essential
Experience using electronic clinical patient records Experience in medicines management Experience of QOF and clinical audit Must not have been substantively employed as a General Medical Practitioner in a Core Network Practice of the PCN at any point in the previous 12 months
Desirable
Understanding of primary care policy developments (GMS contract, Clinical Governance, Network Contract DES, QOF) Knowledge of the health needs of the local population
