Job summary
We are seeking experienced Dermatology Consultants to support outpatient activity within Blackpool Teaching Hospitals. This role focuses on adult routine dermatology clinics and offers regular weekend working.
Main duties of the job
Role RequirementsGMC registered Consultant Dermatologist with a licence to practiseExperience delivering adult outpatient dermatology clinicsAbility to manage routine and general dermatology caseloadsConfident managing clinics with approximately 26 patients per session using 20 minute appointment slotsCompetent in assessing, diagnosing, and managing new dermatology patients, with follow up care incorporated as requiredWilling and able to work weekend clinicsAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teamsWillingness to review and action investigation results, in line with Trust processesCompletion of Trust IT induction and mandatory training, including attendance at a face to face (or virtual) IT appointmentCompliance with Trust policies, clinical governance, and information governance requirements
