About this role

Job summary We are excited to offer an opportunity for a motivated and values-driven Clinical Quality Lead to join our Adult Therapies Clinical Service Unit (AT CSU). This is a key leadership role within our senior leadership team, where you will champion quality and safety, support continuous improvement, and positively influence the experience of our patients, carers and staff.

Working closely with the CSU Tri-Team and professionally accountable to the Lead Allied Health Professional (AHP), you will lead the quality agenda across adult therapies. As a highly skilled clinician, you will act as a visible role model for excellent AHP practice and a trusted source of advice and expertise across the CSU.

Main duties of the job Main Duties of the Role

In this varied and rewarding role, you will:

Lead and coordinate the clinical governance portfolio within Adult Therapies Drive quality improvement initiatives that enhance safety and reduce harm Champion the patient experience agenda, using feedback to shape meaningful change Promote the sharing of learning, innovation and best practice across teams Lead the Infection Prevention and Control agenda within AT CSU Support delivery of the annual Health and Safety audit, working collaboratively with colleagues Provide expert clinical leadership and support to multidisciplinary teams Act as a professional role model, supporting the development of colleagues and junior staff You may occasionally be required to work across different sites within Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.

What you will bring to the role The post holder will lead the quality agenda for Adult Therapies CSU (AT CSU) in conjunction with the CSU Tri Team ensuring continuous improvements and thereby positively impacting the patient experience. The post holder will be professionally and operationally accountable to the Lead AHP and work with them in the delivery of the quality goals.

As an expert clinician the post holder will support the delivery of high quality patient care, acting as a role model for AHP practice across the CSU and act as a source of expertise, advice and knowledge for patients, carers and healthcare professionals to improve quality, drive quality improvement and support the delivery of effective and safe care across the CSU.
