In return, you will join a supportive, well-run practice with a strong team ethos and a consistent working pattern.
We are keen to recruit quickly, so early applications are encouraged.
Main duties of the job

You will ensure all samples are correctly labelled, recorded and prepared for collection, maintaining high standards of accuracy at all times.
You will work closely with the nursing and wider practice team, keeping communication clear and raising any concerns appropriately.
You will follow infection control and safety procedures, including the correct handling and disposal of sharps and clinical waste.
You will also help maintain a clean, organised clinical environment and support the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
About us
Purbeck Health Centre is a busy GP practice with a patient list of approximately 6,100 patients, delivering care in a high-demand, fast-moving primary care environment.
The practice is led by an experienced management team with clear operational structure and oversight. Day-to-day services are coordinated closely between clinical and non-clinical teams, with a strong focus on maintaining safe patient care, managing demand and keeping services running effectively.
We work in a practical, organised way. Roles and responsibilities are clear, and staff are expected to be reliable, take ownership of their work and contribute to the wider team. There is a strong emphasis on getting things right, maintaining standards and supporting each other where needed.
You will be part of a team that is focused, resilient and used to working in a busy setting. Support is available from the Nurse Manager and wider clinical team, but this role will suit someone who is confident, experienced and able to work independently within a structured environment.
