Main duties of the job As an Occupational Therapist at Thornford Park Hospital, you'll work under supervision to plan and facilitate evidence-based group and individual programmes. Your responsibilities include providing comprehensive OT assessments, planning and reviewing treatment programmes, and creating individual rapports to empower recovery. You're expected to maintain records following professional and service standards and support planning, evaluation, and audit of practices. Providing comprehensive OT assessments. Under supervision, planning and reviewing OT treatment programmes. Under supervision, identifying and actioning referrals both in-house, including support staff, and to external agencies Supporting the planning, evaluation, and audit of practices, clinical pathways and protocols at Thornford park. Ensuring that contemporaneous, written and electronic records and activity data are maintained following professional and services standards. To be successful in this role, you'll need:

You will work at Thornford Park which is a combination of medium secure and low secure units and rehabilitation flats. The service provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.
You will work alongside the multidisciplinary to provide personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with mental illness/ complex care needs as well as those with personality disorder. Service users may have histories of offending and/or may have failed in previous placements.
