About this role
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer, you will join our team to support our activities within the Aerospace sector.
You will play a key role in ensuring that mechanical design activities are compliant with aviation regulatory standards and aligned with quality management requirements. This position combines hands-on engineering expertise with responsibility for regulatory compliance, audits, and continuous improvement within a highly regulated aerospace environment.

Ensure mechanical design activities comply with PART 21J, CAA, and ISO standardsManage and coordinate regulatory approvals and certificationsAct as the primary interface with regulatory bodies and auditorsMaintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS)Manage non-conformities, including root cause analysis and corrective actionsLead preparation for audits and regulatory inspectionsSupport engineering and operational teams in maintaining quality and compliance standardsEnsure robust processes across returns, concessions, and non-compliant components Required Skills:
Strong background in mechanical design within aerospace or regulated industriesExperience with PART 21J, CAA regulations, and ISO standardsProven experience in quality assurance, compliance, or certification activitiesAbility to manage audits, approvals, and regulatory interactionsExperience handling non-conformities and corrective actionsUnderstanding of safety-critical engineering environmentsRequired Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience.Extensive experience in mechanical engineering within regulated environmentsDemonstrated experience working with quality management systems (QMS)Desirable Skills:
Experience within a PART 21J Design OrganisationFamiliarity with EASA/CAA certification processesExposure to aerospace manufacturing or MRO environmentsKnowledge of configuration control and documentation processes Why join us?
