Job summary This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Person to join the welcoming and specialized support team at The Chestnuts Care home in Aylesbury. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds, ensuring the safety and well-being of all residents.
Main duties of the job As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for assessing and undertaking repairs, including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, and repairing doors and windows. You will ensure that the care home is safe for all residents and that all work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements. You will also liaise with the head office team to refer any work that cannot be completed internally to a contractor.

You will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows. If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with our head office team to refer the repair to a contractor.
