Main duties of the job
Conduct face-to-face, telephone, and video consultations for a diverse patient list. Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions in line with best practice and clinical guidelines. Provide health education, preventative care, and lifestyle advice tailored to individual patient needs. Manage repeat prescriptions, referrals, and follow-up care efficiently and accurately. Work collaboratively with nurses, healthcare assistants, and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care. Person Specification
Qualifications Essential
Full GMC registration with a licence to practise. Inclusion on the NHS GP Performers List. MRCGP qualification (or equivalent experience). Current indemnity cover and enhanced DBS check. Strong clinical decision-making skills and a patient-first mindset. Adaptability and confidence working in different practice settings. Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to care.
