Main duties of the job As a Care Assistant (Bank), you will be responsible for providing companionship, personal care, medication support, meal assistance, light cleaning tasks, and mobility support to help clients live as independently as possible. You will also be involved in social activities, trips out, and engagements within the care home. Companionship - Providing support, companionship, communication and engagement Personal care-supporting with a wash bath or shower and supporting the client with dressing and oral care. Medication-Prompting, assisting or administering medications and creams. Meals Supporting the client with healthy meals, snacks and beverages. Domestic tasks- light cleaning tasks. Mobility - Supporting the client to live as independently as possible with their mobility.
