About this role

Job summary This is a rewarding role as a Domestic Care Assistant at the Sedgemoor care home in Weston-Super-Mare. You will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene standards of the care home, as well as providing companionship and support to the residents. Main duties of the job As a Domestic Care Assistant, you will be responsible for communal cleaning, ensuring the communal areas are kept clean and safe for residents and employees. You will also be responsible for domestic tasks such as dusting, polishing, and vacuuming residents' bedrooms, and using appropriate warning signs when required. You will work closely with the home management team to ensure the home meets the standards of hygiene and cleanliness. Additionally, you will provide support, communication, and engagement to residents.
