Job summary This is a permanent Maintenance Person role at Hazlemere Lodge care home in High Wycombe, part of the Agincare group. The role involves maintaining the building and grounds, including repairs, painting, decorating, and grounds maintenance, to ensure the safety of residents. Main duties of the job As a Maintenance Person at Hazlemere Lodge care home, you will be responsible for the maintenance of the building and grounds in line with health and safety requirements. You will assess and undertake repairs including painting and decorating, grounds maintenance, plastering, repairing doors and windows. If work cannot be completed internally, you will liaise with the head office team to refer the repair to a contractor. Safety is paramount, so you will ensure that the care home is safe for all residents. You will also ensure that work is completed and recorded in line with legislative and regulatory requirements.
